Praveen Mahto
Praveen has been in the power and energy industry for over 25 years including 11 years in SAIL and has acquired extensive power and energy industry technical, commercial and business skills through work in most areas of the business, covering operation & maintenance, asset management, project engineering & project management, sales & marketing, project development and developing new business. His work experience covers diverse markets like India, Indonesia, Bangladesh, and Yemen prior to establishing in Australia for over last twelve years. Praveen has been key player for the successful project development of Braemar-1 and Kwinana gas fired power projects, besides driving numerous other large scale project developments across Australia. Praveen holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from NIT (REC) Rourkela and MBA from the University of Queensland.
Ajoy K. Bose
Ajoy is Resident Director of PowerGen in India. He is presently director of two companies involved in refractory and ferroalloys. He has vast experience in design, consultancy, projects and construction of coke oven and iron & steel units. He worked for SAIL for 12 years. His work experience covers projects with Hogovens Steel / Danielli Chorus in different parts of the world. He also has niche experience in design, application and marketing of refractories during his time at OCL India Ltd. For last 11 years he has successfully introduced a number of innovative products first time in Indian market based on rigorous R&D, like synthetic slag and slag conditioner. He holds a BTech degree in Ceramic Technology and MTech degree from IIT, Kanpur in Metallurgy.
Chris Allen
Chris has more than 20 years’ experience in the infrastructure and finance industries, across a range of sectors and responsibilities. His investment and financing experience spans principal investment, development and acquisitions and is experienced of managing multi-party consortiums and joint ventures as well as arranging and providing debt and equity capital to companies and projects. Chris’ major project development and financing experience includes the running the development and capital raising for the proposed West Java Power Station as well as the NewGen Kwinana and Neerabup Power Stations and the Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal in Queensland. Chris has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Western Australia and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh in the USA.
